Thoughts From a Frazzled Mind

Fun, fun, fun - and did I say fun - weekend!  Friday night I went down to Cyn's to play games with her family and her cousin, Ranae (I met Ranae at Island Park a couple of years ago).  Playing games with Cyn pretty much is at the top of my list of favorite things to do!  I spent the night there and then we left early the next morning to pick up Tasha from the airport. After getting Tasha, and meeting up with Brynanne, we headed to the new Salt Lake Mall, City Creek.  It is a very pretty, outdoor mall with a creek running right through it!  Happy day for Cyn and me - we found this wonderful game store!  We each chose a game to take back to the hotel to play.  Shandra met us at the hotel and we played our new fun games (Anomia and Furt) until it was time to get ready to get ready and eat dinner before the show. Me and the girls had a SLENDIFEROUS weekend! It all started out with tickets to the most fabulous play, Wicked! We decided that since we were going to spoil ourselves by going to the play, we would add to the experience by staying the weekend in the city! Of course, no weekend would be complete without doing some serious SHOPPING! After checking into the hotel, we met up with Marilyn, Maddie, Karen, and Maddy for dinner. We walked around for awhile looking for a good place to eat. We finally found a fun little Italian place that served real Italian pizza . It was really good and not something that we have the opportunity to eat very often. After dinner it was time for the show!!!! Wicked was phenomenal! We all LOVED it! I am in awe at the talent that went into this production! The writing was incredible, the music fantastic, and both of the witches were absolutely magnificent!
