Dinosaur Park

 One of the greatest thing about being unemployed is that I have a time to do fun things like going to the Dinosaur Park.  I have never been there before, and Bubba promised me that he would show me everything!
 

We had a fabulous time!  Bubba ran from one dinosaur to the next, pointing all of the best ones out to me.  After looking at all of the exhibits, he played on the toys for another hour.  It was a wonderful day.

Friends, Food, and Lots of Laughs

Last Friday we were invited to Troy and Carol's house for pizza and games along with Dave & Jodi and Mike & Carrie. It has been way too long since we have gotten together with them! Carol made homemade pizza - with wheat crust! It was wonderful! It was interesting to talk with Carrie. She is a Canadian citizen, and she shared information about the healthcare systems up there. Jodi made this absolutely incredible Earthquake Cake that was truly amazing! (It would have been perfect if she had forgotten the coconut.) After dinner we adjourned to the family room for some fun games - and tons of laughter! We played Eye to Eye and Linkety. Troy and Dave are both so competitive that is fun to watch them try to outdo each other! Mike and Troy have been friends for so long that they have code words that only they know. Week in Review 11/6/16

We didn't know what else to do on Monday so we decided to draw names for Christmas and do a little Christmas shopping.  It was a good idea, but, although we had a good time, we really didn't find any great Christmas presents.  (Actually it was a good thing that we didn't because there was a mistake on the list and we had to re-draw names!)  We did have a great lunch at Noodles. We made our way to the Halloween store and had a great time with all of the fun props, decor and costumes.  Some of the things that are available now are just CRAZY.  There was a whole display of zombie babies that was just plain CREEPY. Ash and I bought some make-up so we could have fun with the Trick-or-Treaters. We each did our own make-up, and I found that I am NOT very good at it!  Also, there is something seriously wrong with my eyes - no matter how hard I tried my fake eyelashes just wouldn't go on right.  Instead of having a nice even curve they looked li...
