Food 4 Thought Friday

Breakfast What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?
Oatmeal with flax seed. I eat it almost every day.

Lunch What is something that you are disappointed about right now.
I'm very dissappointed that I was not able to attend Women's Conference this year. I miss the spiritual feast that seems to sustain me throughout the rest of the year.

Dinner What is in your fridge right now?
That is a very good question - since my DH takes care of that!

Midnight Snack What are you really anticipating right now?
I am so anticipating this summer's break from school! I love school, but it will be great to have a break.

Recipe of the Week (instead of your recipe for life, what is it just for this week?)
Finals start this week, so I'm just going to try to survive without freaking out!

Let's Go Fly a Kite!

Friday evening Kim came into the house and said, "let's go fly kites!" I had been diligently studying for hours so I decided that a kite-flying break was just what I needed! We grabbed our jackets and kites and headed for the park.

The wind was just perfect for Bubba-type flying (i.e. flying low)! All we had to do was throw into the air, and it would take off. A great time was had by all!

Bubba had a terrific time! He especially liked to jump up and try to catch the kite-tails as they flitted just out of his reach.
