Women's Conference

I always look forward to going to BYU to attend Women's Conference and this year definitely did no disappoint!  Wednesday at noon Karen, Deanna, Marilyn and I headed south for this year's escapade.
The new Payson temple open house corresponded with Women's Conference so we decided to start off our adventure by attending the open house.
The temple is absolutely beautiful!  It is decorated with apple blossoms everywhere.  What a great way to start off Women's Conference!

We were planning to spend the rest of the evening in the hot tub at the hotel, but unfortunately the hot tub was broken

Luckily for us Jalyn and her friend Martha (along with Lynne and Debbie) invited us to pajama ice cream sundae night!

Martha, Lynne, and Jalyn had us rolling with laughter as they shared antics from their days in serving in the Young Women's organization.  Who would have thought that these fine women could be such pranksters!

The conference speakers were all fabulous, as usual.  I…

Food 4 Thought Friday ~ This week's questions:

Breakfast~Who was your favorite celebrity as a child? Donny Osmond – DUH!
Lunch~ Are you a morning or night person? Depends on what shift I am working or if I have something fun planned.  I can be either, although now that I have added a few years to my age it seems that it takes me longer to switch back and forth
Dinner~If you were invisible, where would you go? True confessions time – if I were invisible I would like to go into my friends’ houses and watch them live life on a day to day basis without them knowing that anyone was watching.  I would like to see how they handle all the stresses and fun times, the way they clean, and the way they interact with others in the family.
Midnight Snack~ Name one t…

Temple and Bobcat

Today was a great day.  The day started off with visiting teaching, I love visiting teaching although I'm not the best at it!  I love to get to know other sisters in the ward and share friendships.  I don't have a picture of today's visit, but here is a picture of my wonderful visiting teachers, Karen and Jonell) who know how much I like lunch so we visit at a restaurant (and Shandra and Ashley always come along for even more fun!)
After our visit I picked up Tammy and we went to the Brigham City Temple.  Such a wonderful place to be!
Later on I was able to attend pack meeting with our newest cub scout!

He got his Bobcat, Shandra was taking a final exam so I was able to fill in to do his face painting.  Unfortunately we didn't get a good picture of his face.  I really hate that he is growing up so fast!  But I am very proud of this guy!

Fun day!
