Food For Thought

My friend Jodi started posting Food For Thought again, and I'm so glad.  I find that as I review my past blog posts Food For Thought posts are my favorite! Food 4 Thought Friday ~ This week's questions:   ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥      Breakfast  What is something you are looking forward to right now?  Our first annual sister's retreat!  My sisters and I decided that we need to get closer and enjoy each other more so we are going to have a 3-day retreat at Wolf Creek next month.  I CAN'T WAIT! Lunch   What was your greatest accomplishment today?   I was teaching clinicals - I always feel a great sense of accomplishment as I see the light in my students' eyes as they "get" something I help them learn.  Love this job! Dinner   What are your plans for Valentine's Day?   My sister, Ashley, and I decided to be Valentines and have dinner tonight.  My sweet husband offered to babysit for her.  (I celebrated with Kim last week in San Diego!) San Diego February Fun

Thanks to Tasha I found fabulous flights round-trip to San Diego for only $100!  Of course we know what that means - a visit to San Diego to see Tasha and Zane!  Fortunately the timing was right to also celebrate our anniversary.  We stayed in the WorldMark Mission Bay condo again because it is literally 5 minutes to Tasha and Zane's house!   When we arrived, Tasha suggested we go to the nearby Waffle Spot for breakfast.  What a fabulous choice!  I am somewhat of a pancake and waffle snob, being very picky about the taste of  my breakfasts.  The Waffle Spot did not disappoint!  The waffles are the best I have ever tasted!  If fact, we liked them so much that we went back the next day! King Waffle stopped and posed with us while we were waiting for our table.   It was SO great to be with Tasha and Zane again!  It is truly amazing to me how the second we are together again it feels like we have never been apart.  I love them very much!
