Woman's Conference 2014

Image
I always look forward to going to BYU Women's conference and this year was no exception.  Jalyn and Tammy stayed with me in a motel in Lehi.  Marilyn and her mother and sisters stayed in Orem, but we met up with them each day.  Cyn drove her mother down each day and joined us. We didn't do a lot of walking this year due to Jalyn's toe surgery, we enjoyed the shuttles provided for us as part of the conference to get us to and from the various venues. One of the funnest things of the conference this year was bumping into my cousins, Colleen and Teri!  We had a great time comparing notes and catching up. I didn't take many notes this year, but here are a few snippets that I enjoyed: Sheri Dew:   The Savior seldom moves mountains, but He always helps us climb them. Stephanie Nielsen:   Sharing the gospel message of hope and love is our mission and responsibility.  Social networking, blogging, is a great way to bear testimony. Ann Holden: ...

So Much to Do, So Little Time

I have attempted to start a blog post for quite a few days, but wonder what I will say that will have any value.  Life seems to just keep racing by with little moments of memory making treasures, but it seems that when I actually find  make time to write them down, I can't recall anything.  Yes, that does mean that I am too busy!  But I don't see any changes in my available time in the near future. Next Tasha has just been hired as a massage therapist at an upscale spa and resort in California! I have such incredibly talented girls and couldn't be prouder of them! ***************************************************** After almost two years of working straight graveyard shifts (5:00 pm to 5:00 am) I have now switched to working days (5:00 am to 5:00 pm).  What ...

Easter 2014

Image
Without mom here to plan our traditional Easter scavenger hunt we dropped the ball and didn't plan a family get together.  However literally at  the last minute we decided to throw together an egg salad lunch out at Robin's house. Here is just a mish-mash of photos from that fun afternoon. Ash is ready to protect our meal from any wild animals who may be prowling in the house! Taylor rode out on his motorcycle and Kalel just  had to try on his helmet. The kids had a fabulous time jumping on the new trampoline.  Even Taylor joined in the fun! Trying to keep Taylor on the tramp. Shandra hasn't lost her talent! Kalel's first flip!
