Woman's Conference 2014

I always look forward to going to BYU Women's conference and this year was no exception.  Jalyn and Tammy stayed with me in a motel in Lehi.  Marilyn and her mother and sisters stayed in Orem, but we met up with them each day.  Cyn drove her mother down each day and joined us.
We didn't do a lot of walking this year due to Jalyn's toe surgery, we enjoyed the shuttles provided for us as part of the conference to get us to and from the various venues.
One of the funnest things of the conference this year was bumping into my cousins, Colleen and Teri!  We had a great time comparing notes and catching up.

I didn't take many notes this year, but here are a few snippets that I enjoyed:
Sheri Dew:  The Savior seldom moves mountains, but He always helps us climb them.
Stephanie Nielsen:  Sharing the gospel message of hope and love is our mission and responsibility.  Social networking, blogging, is a great way to bear testimony.
Ann Holden:  Remember, no matter how inadequate we may feel, we are always better because the Lord is with us.  If we are a "3", the Lord is "100", so now we are "103".
Elona Shelley:  If we are trying so hard to achieve a righteous goal that we try to control others we are following Satan's plan.  Remember that it is not our job to save anyone.  Those we love have a Savior - and it isn't me!
Brother and Sister Hafen:  The atonement isn't always to take away our sorrows and pain, it is to help us meet the conditions of grace and to help us grow.
