Mass Casualty The mass casualty simulation for this semester turned out GREAT!  My class planned it very well and they had several outside sources that made it even better.  This semester's scenario was an avalanche that was triggered by a very depressed guy.  We set up as if we were in a ski lodge and the patients were brought into the building and placed in a room depending on the severity of their wounds.  Of course there were several mistakes  learning opportunities, but I think that overall it was very successful. Graduation I am really proud of these great students.  I see bright futures for each of them.  I was able to go to dinner with them and their significant others and we had a great time.  I love the friendships and bonds that are formed during nursing school.  One of the students gave me this adorable plaque that says, "Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all".  I LOVE it!  I was the keynote speaker, but it was easy to sp
