He would be 26 years old today. Here are some fun pictures and memories I have of him. (The information for the pictures are listed clockwise)
He would be 26 years old today. Here are some fun pictures and memories I have of him. (The information for the pictures are listed clockwise)
1) BJ was exactly two weeks old when we were sealed together for all eternity. It was such a special day! 2) Notice BJ’s cute little moccasins? Kim made them for him! 3) He was always such a ham! If he saw anyone with a camera, he would stop and grin for the camera! 4) BJ & Shandra. 5) He always had a smile! 6) BJ was a born with a “congenital hip” which meant that his hip socket wasn’t fully formed when he was born. He had to wear between 3 and 5 diapers at a time for several months to keep his legs apart. He always looked like his butt was huge!
BJ absolutely LOVED playing games! He was always ready for a game. His favorite game was called Oodles and he would beg us to play it whenever we got together for a game night. Many times instead of taking his dates out to a movie or something, he would invite them to play games with his family
There was never a dull moment with BJ around! We never knew just what kind of adventure we might find just around the corner. BJ loved children, he acted just like them! He loved to hug, and he never was embarrassed to hug or kiss his parents - even in public! As he got older he reminded me of a big teddy bear.
3) Our little family. 4) My little man.
1) Performing with “Sunshine Generation”. 2) Soccer goalie. 3) Notice the number pinned to his briefs? He was imitating the body builders on the TV.
1) BJ & Tasha on our horse Jake. 2) Proud fisherman. 3) A devoted fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. 4) I’m really not sure why he taped toothpicks in his nose. We think he was creating vampire fangs. What an imagination. 5) Dressed up as a clown for "C" day in kindergarten.

2) Showing Shandra some of the moves he perfected as a member of the Snow College Dance Team. 3) Swimming, one of his favorite activities. 4) He used to rollerblade to work at the pool. He was once clocked at over 35 mph! 5) Our city recreation volleyball team. BJ loved volleyball more than just about anything else! 6) Tandem bowling with Kim.

1 & 2) BJ brought this iguana home from college. He was iguana sitting for one of his friends during the Christmas holiday. I HATED it! 3) This is Kim’s favorite picture of BJ. 4) BJ was always bringing home strays – cats, friends, and this cute little puppy, Noelle, that he wrapped up and surprised us with for Christmas.

We miss you, Beej.
