Food 4 Thought Friday ~ This week's questions
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Breakfast
What one word would you put on your gravestone?
Man - this is tough. I can think of several. Maybe "honest" or "fun" would be good, but "Christlike" would be the best.
Lunch
What happened today that made you feel good?
The last few days have really been tough. I'm pretty sure that I am suffering with seasonal affective disorder (SAD), and I have a hard time with January and February - not to mention that I also have a couple of anniversaries during this time of the year that make it hard. Anyway, I decided that today I would just take a break from the world and stay in bed all day long to hibernate. It was a good thing, I think, because this evening I was able to get up and referee the girls' basketball game for the church and have a really good time.
Dinner
Is there something hanging over your head that you need to do right now?
Dishes, laundry, homework - pretty much everything that I hid from today.
Midnight Snack
What are you most looking forward to at this moment? Least looking forward to?
The thing I am most looking forward to at this moment is summer, bright sunny days, warm temperatures. I'm least looking forward to the upcoming storm.
Recipe for the Week
(instead of your recipe for life, what is it just for this week?)
This week I literally just want to survive without too much stress.
I probably shouldn't even have posted because it is too depressing, oh well. Sorry to all my readers. I'll try to be more upbeat next time.

I get a bit of S.A.D, too. Hope the skies clear for you soon.

Audrey,
I am sorry you are having a hard time! Having those anniversaries coincide with winter is tough. I am glad you took it easy and got away from it all yesterday. Don't put pressure on yourself...take it a day at a time... or an hour at a time. Hope you feel better soon !!! We need to go to lunch!

Why be sorry? It's your blog. Your place to put what you want. I'm sorry you are having a tough time right now. I lost my dad 12 years ago on the 5th. It's a day that I dread every year. I struggled this week. I am happy that you got to stay in bed all day. That's a nice therapy.
