Food 4 Thought Friday ~ This week's questions:
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Breakfast ~ Post a photo of what you see in front of you at this moment...(if you're starring at a computer screen, then post something in the room.)
This is a picture of the library at Pineview Rehab.  I camp out in this room while I am supervising nursing students as they work with nurses taking care of patients.

Lunch ~ What is something you must get done today?  What is something you would like to get today?
Other than working today, the only thing I MUST get done is attend the viewing of my brother-in-law's father.  What I am looking forward to is dinner with my sisters and then heading to our sisters retreat after the viewing.  Serious relaxation and good times ahead!

Dinner ~ Name something that disappointed you this week.  Name something that made you happy or excited.

Ok, I'm going to be totally honest - the biggest disappointment this week was that the viewing and funeral was scheduled smack-dab in the middle of our sisters retreat - which we have had scheduled and looked forward to for months.
Something that made me happy or excited was a visit from Sally - which I will post about at a later time.

Midnight Snack ~ List five to ten of your "go to" meals that you serve most frequently.

Since I rarely cook and I'm usually home alone in the evenings, my "go to" meals usually involve breakfast foods - they are quick and easy.  Cold cereal, oatmeal, french toast, and scrambled eggs are my favs.  If I do prepare meals, I will make up a batch of pulled pork or chicken salad so that I can have several days worth of sandwiches.  My most frequent cooked items are corn chowder and shepherd's pie.

My favorite "go to" meal:  take out!

Recipe of the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?)

My recipe of the week is to work towards making choices in line with what the Lord has in mind for me.  Ever since my nursing journey began I felt that I have been lead and guided in ways that have lead me closer to a goal that only He knows.  I am so grateful, and am trying to stay in tune.

Your breakfast foods sound so yummy. I need to do more breakfast for dinner! I love "take out" as your fave!
