Southern California 2013 - Part 4

Thursday we left early to drive the 70 miles south

to

a place where almost everything in sight was made out of Legos.  It was very impressive.
Shrek
They had several rides – mostly geared to young children.  We rode a couple of coasters, Kalel drove around a driving course and got a Lego driving license.
He also rode a jousting horse around a medieval track.

We had fun at the building stations building all kinds of creations out of Legos - I even got into the act and built a fire engine.

Zane helped Kalel make a race car.  They raced the car and WON!
The Winning Car!

Zane and Tasha were brave enough to ride a ride where robotic arms twisted, turned, and dumped them upside down about 30 feet in the air.

One of the most impressive things in LegoLand was the miniature display where hundreds of famous buildings and landmarks were recreated in miniature all out of Legos.  It was an incredible sight.  Zane, as an architectural engineer, was in heaven all day!

It is so hard to imagine how everything was made out of Legos!  It must take days and days and days of work to create the amazing structures!

After the long drive back, we hit the hot tub again to relax our weary legs and gear up for the next day at Disneyland!
