Blog Challenge #3 - Top 5 Pet Peeves

Top 5 Pet Peeves

• ·         Men who leave the toilet seat up.  First of all it is just ugly!  Who wants to look at toilet water?  (or other things that don’t get flushed down).  Second, if you sit down and the seat isn't down – can we say awkward?
• ·        Things that never get used:  I can’t even count all of the times Kim and I have rushed out to buy something that we think we “have” to have, bring it home, and there it sits . . . for days, weeks, and even months because we get so busy to use it.  For example, our toilet seat broke making it an adventure every time you sat down, no knowing if you would slide off the side or not!  So, we rushed to the store to buy one.  However, before we got home something came up and we had to stop somewhere else, making it very late when we got home, thus we were too tired to put the new seat in its place.  The next day, sometime else came up, etc, etc, and soon it was a month later and we were still slipping and sliding every time we sat on the toilet.  (as a side note – this situation has recently been remedied and using the toilet is no longer a precarious adventure!)
• ·         People who are quick to judge others without knowing all (or any) of the facts of their life.  It is NOT our place to judge.  To be honest, I am not free of this vise, but I am trying.
• ·         Drivers who get in such a hurry that they weave back and forth in traffic trying to gain 20 seconds or so on the rest of us!  Along with that, why do people feel that it is ok to drive right on the bumper of the car in front of it?  I have been rear-ended before, and it isn’t fun!
• ·         Taking the last Dr. Pepper.  This is a crime punishable by death!
